can a thermocoupl tip burn off? It appears the one on my N145 may have done so. Is it possible? Thanks View answer

what is the voltage output of this thermocouple? Mine reads 40mv but the burner won't stay lit when igniting.
Our 145 Thermo coupler has a small extension at the topof the fridge. Do we need to change that as well?
