Do you know if the thermostat for the SCQT4407 can be used with the older SCQT6407 unit?

I have an SCQT 4407 that operates fine on 120AC but compressor won't run on 12v but thermostat green light comes on

SCQT-6407 i want to diagnose problem at home using only AC. The install it back to boat without The DC option.
