2015 Timber Ridge 280 RKS
Norcold N811R Refrigerator
Power board 628661
Limit sensor 2M0802
All inside circuit breakers (120V) and fuses (12V) have been checked and are good
120V power comes into the outside refer compartment, and from there into the power board. All OK
12V power comes from the converter into the power board. It then passes through a 5V fuse. Power is 12V+ exiting the fuse.
The GFI has been checked and is OK.
The post on the 2M0802 Limit sensor does not move. I can’t tell if it is in the triggered position or not.
I have removed the designated wires from the power board, removed the cover, then reattached the wires. I then jumpered the 2 nd pin from the right honeycomb to ground. No click to be heard. Repeated many times, to no avail. Using 12 gauge solid wire, with the ground end screwed onto the board’s ground post.
The indicator light on the eye brow shines a steady green. No blinking, no other colors. The gas does not come on, though it is available. The heat stack gets hot, but the refer doesn’t get cold.
We didn’t discover the refer had died until early September, after a hot August. By hot I mean there were about 10 days over a hundred degrees, peaking at about 108°. The trailer sits on a concrete driveway, so temps could have gotten pretty high.
Researching our problem we learned that the Norcold doesn’t like temps over 90°, and we do not have the suggested fan.
We now seem to have a lock-out problem that I have not yet been able to solve.
What should I do? Is there another fix, or should I replace the power board and the limit sensor?
