The best way to test a gas valve is with a resistance reading. Check it for ohms. This specific Norcold valve should have a reading around 80 ohms of resistance.

My fridge is a N641 and now will not work on LP I can hear clicking when the AC drops out but has only tried to struck a flame once out of 15 times.
