Carbon build-up is most commonly caused by an overly rich condition. It could also be that the distance between the electrode is improper.
what causes these thermocouples to build up carbon deposits so quickly in use? any way to prevent?
I get 2 weeks maximum use from my frig in propane mode before I have to disassemble and clean the TC because of significant carbon deposits. What causes this and is there a way to prevent it?
