new board kit 633292 mode and temp buttons not working
The new board kit 633292 I just ordered we installed per provided instructions and the fridge works but the temp and mode buttons will not work and it had a constant d code on the display even though the door is closed was wondering what the problem could be tried calling no answer.

That means that you will need to snip the lavender wire out of the refrigerator's plug up at the optical control board. Not many refrigerators need this wire to be cut, this is not a common problem. Cutting the purple/ lavender wire from that plug will fix the issues with the front controls as well as the "d" alarm.
